Which vessels is TrimCargo primarily designed for?
Capesize bulk carriers. Vessel particulars, hydrostatic data and draft-mark positions must match the vessel in use. Suitability for another vessel must be assessed against its approved information and the tools available in the current app build.
Is TrimCargo a vessel loadicator?
TrimCargo supports draft surveying and cargo trimming toward target tonnage, drafts and trim. Its loading analysis checks configured limits; it does not verify stability or structural stresses. Those checks remain with the vessel-approved loadicator.
What does the deflection engine show?
It estimates the effect of modelled hog or sag on expected aft, midship and forward drafts for selected cargo additions. Compare trim-only results with results including deflection. These are advisory forecasts; confirm actual drafts as loading progresses.
What do simulation warnings mean?
They identify predicted breaches of the limits configured in the app for the proposed steps. Loading analysis also compares the selected survey condition with configured limits. A clear result covers those checks only.
Can I review and export a survey report?
The apps support PDF reports. Review the survey readings, vessel data, deductions and cargo reconciliation before issuing a report. Report options depend on the platform, build and verified access.
Can I start a voyage on one device and continue on another?
Yes, through optional cloud voyage transfer. Upload a selected voyage, then download its revision on another supported device. Transfer is manual and creates a separate local copy, so check the voyage revision before continuing.
Can I try TrimCargo offline?
The built-in Test Vessel Demo is available offline and the app can open without signing in. Sign-in, cloud transfer and access verification require Internet access. Personal operational use offline depends on a valid offline-access lease on the same installation.
When does the 14-day trial start?
A verified account starts the shared personal-vessel trial only after explicit confirmation. Installing the app, signing in or checking access does not start it. Current trial and Pro conditions are described on the support and terms pages.
